THE SITUATION
No one flow held the whole customer journey, so leads were neglected.

WHAT I DID
I designed a tech stack with 7 tools to link clients with internal and external contributors. The bottleneck was the funnel, so I built a CRM pipeline in Notion to track leads, their status, and ownership, complete with automations.

WHAT WAS LEARNED
My Notion CRM failed because it needed too much manual updating and still left the outreach fragmented across different tools

WHAT I DID PT 2
Chris had ruled out Pipedrive on cost. That's why I built the CRM in Notion first. He reversed that ruling, and I rebuilt the pipeline in Pipedrive, wired in the marketing team's automated LinkedIn campaign, and built the handshake into delivery.

WHAT WAS LEARNED PT 2
The pipeline I built stopped leads from going cold and landed a National Sporting Franchise deal after the rebuild.

THE DECISION
Automations handled low-touch moments so that time was free for ones that needed a person. A pipeline in Pipedrive centralized communication for visibility. An intake call routed buyers to the appropriate product while giving us information about their challenge. A check in 60/90 days after a project ended reengaged clients.
As the Studio’s priorities shifted capacity to near term revenue, many of the automations remained unlaunched.

WHAT IT MEANT
I had designed a system assuming Imaginology had the capacity to implement it wholesale. I’d phase the rollout differently to fit the capacity available and earn more time for the next piece.
